Over 8,000 animals from 28 species, including elephants, rhinos, buffalos, lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, giraffes, and various herbivores, were released into the Madikwe Game Reserve. The drive will last a few hours before returning to the lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon, join others at the lodge for the afternoon game drive. The rangers in Madikwe prioritize the "Top Ten" instead of the Big Five. This means that, along with the highly sought-after African species like lions, buffalos, leopards, elephants, and rhinos, the malaria-free Madikwe is also home to hippos, giraffes, wild dogs, hyenas, and cheetahs.
