Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by a Meet & Greet assistant who will guide you to your private driver and vehicle for your airport transfer. They will also assist you with the hotel check-in process and provide you with any necessary travel documents.

Experience the breathtaking cityscape of London from above by taking a flight on the London Eye, the world's largest observation wheel. On a clear day, you may even be able to see as far as Windsor Castle, which is 25 miles away. Embark on a tour of Churchill’s War Rooms and the Imperial War Museum with your private driver and guide. Uncover the hidden secrets of the original Cabinet War Rooms, where Churchill and his staff sought refuge during the Blitz. These historic rooms were once alive with planning and strategizing, and today you can delve into their underground depths to experience the clandestine history that lies beneath. Afterwards, explore the six floors of London's Imperial War Museum, with its diverse exhibits. Marvel at the First World War Galleries, peruse the Lord Ashcroft Gallery showcasing military service medals dating from the Crimean War, and visit the award-winning Holocaust Exhibition, shedding light on the Nazi persecution of Jews and other groups during the Second World War. Return to your hotel to conclude the tour.

LONDON TO PARIS TO FRANCE RIVER CRUISE

Upon arrival at the train station, you will be greeted by a Meet & Greet assistant who will assist you in locating your private driver. They will be holding a sign with your name on it. Once you have connected with your driver, they will accompany you to your accommodation. Enjoy a comfortable and convenient transfer experience.

Embark on a delightful journey from London to Paris aboard the Eurostar train. The travel time for this journey is approximately 2.5 hours, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenic views along the way.

Once you have settled into your stateroom, take the opportunity to explore the entirety of your cruise vessel. Get acquainted with the amenities and facilities provided for your convenience. In the evening, join your fellow cruise mates at a Welcome Reception to kick off your cruise experience. You will be spending the night at port in Paris.

In the morning, you will reach Conflans, a medieval town with barge houses near the main square. Explore the enchanting village of Auvers-sur-Oise to visit Vincent van Gogh's room. Alternatively, visit Chantilly Castle for a guided tour of the stunning chateau and its parklands.

ROUEN TO FRANCE RIVER CRUISE

Experience a walking tour of Rouen, the capital of Normandy, and explore its renowned landmarks such as Joan of Arc and the historic Rouen Cathedral. Stroll through the charming medieval alleys and appreciate the city's exquisite half-timbered houses. Alternatively, partake in a guided cycling tour along the Seine River to visit the stunning 19th-century botanical gardens, home to a variety of unique and scarce plants.

Today, you can explore the historic Normandy beaches where the D-Day landings occurred in June 1944. There are three fascinating options to choose from. One option is to visit the Bayeux War Cemetery, Museum of the Battle of Normandy, Landing Museum in Arromanches, and the British Normandy memorial to learn about the involvement of the British forces. Another option is to learn about the US contribution at Utah Beach and Memorial, followed by a visit to the Normandy American cemetery and visitor center. Alternatively, you can experience the battle through the eyes of Canadian forces by visiting the Juno Beach Centre, Beny-sur-Mer Canadian cemetery, and Pegasus Bridge & Museum. If none of these options interest you, you can explore Honfleur, known for its quaint architecture, relaxed coastal atmosphere, and colorful fishing boats.

Day 7

CAUDEBEC-EN-CAUX TO FRANCE RIVER CRUISE

Come and explore Fecamp and its magnificent palace, surrounded by stunning natural beauty. The city's architectural centerpiece, the Benedictine Palace, is a striking contrast to the picturesque landscapes that were once home to over 100 abbeys. Along your journey, you can visit some of the remarkable abbeys that are still in operation, or discover the Roman history of Lillebonne. Legend has it that William the Conqueror made the decision to invade England while staying in his castle at Lillebonne in 1066.

When you return to the ship, your Cruise Director will arrange a special treat for you - a tasting of Calvados, a locally produced Apple Brandy.

VERNON TO FRANCE RIVER CRUISE

Start your day by visiting Giverny and Monet's former residence and gardens. This area of France has been a great source of inspiration for many famous artists throughout history. Take a leisurely stroll along the vibrant paths and appreciate the breathtaking beauty of the landscape. For a more adventurous experience, opt for a self-guided cycling tour to explore Giverny. Later in the day, make sure to visit the magnificent Chateau de La Roche-Guyon. This impressive castle is built into a steep rock face, overlooking the Seine River and the village of the same name. Dating back to medieval times, the chateau will transport you to a bygone era as you indulge in a live classical concert.

PARIS TO FRANCE RIVER CRUISE

Today, you have the opportunity to experience Paris in different ways. You can choose to go on a food market tour with a chef and sample delicious dishes, or take a walk in the Marais district with a local expert and learn insider stories. If you prefer, you can also venture outside of Paris and visit the Chateau Vaux-le-Vicomte, a beautiful estate from the 17th century that inspired the Palace of Versailles. No matter what you choose, this afternoon is all about exploring the incredible attractions that Paris has to offer.

Bid farewell to the crew this morning as your voyage ends and you disembark from your cruise vessel.

Enjoy a full day exploring the Palace of Versailles, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site. With a private vehicle, an English-speaking guide, and a driver, you will have a wonderful experience. The Palace of Versailles is famous for its Baroque architecture and is known as a symbol of civilization, opulence, and pleasure. It has a long history, dating back to 1038, and was the official residence of the Kings of France from 1682 to 1790. Initially a hunting lodge used by Louis XIV, it was expanded into a magnificent palace with beautiful manicured gardens. Inside the palace, you will see magnificent examples of baroque furnishings, a rare collection of objects d'art, and special exhibitions. Afterward, you will visit the Petit and Grand Trianons and Queen Marie-Antoinette's Hamlet.
