Day 3

ARENAL

Prepare for an action-packed day of thrills and adventure on a private white water rafting trip. A private transfer will take you to the starting point, where you will face class II and III rapids. Your experienced river guide will ensure your safety and enjoyment. Learn about rafting responsibilities and paddle commands during a briefing before experiencing the rush of adrenaline as you navigate the Balsa San Carlos River. Conquer the currents for two to three hours, tackling rapids like Magnetic Rock and the Dredges. This half-day excursion offers plenty of excitement, while still being suitable for families. Take a break halfway through the trip to relax on the river banks, enjoy the tropical surroundings, and have a light snack before continuing downstream. After completing the circuit, head to a nearby estate for a delicious Costa Rican lunch and share your adventure stories with your loved ones.

ARENAL

Experience the beauty of the Arenal Volcano on a guided horseback ride. Journey through forests and farms, immersing yourself in nature and stunning views. The ride starts at Don Tobias ”Ranchito” where you'll meet your guide. Meander through pastures and forest, reaching the highest point for breathtaking views. Descend through rainforest and return to the ranchito. Enjoy a juice or coffee and tortillas with cheese. This ethical riding experience allows you to see the real Costa Rica.

Dine at Don Rufino Restaurant in La Fortuna this evening. Lonely Planet describes it as trendy and hopping. The bistro is known for its well-prepared grilled meats served in a rustic establishment. Reservation and transportation are included, but the meal is not. Reservations are confirmed at booking and subject to availability.

ARENAL TO TAMARINDO

Begin your journey through Guanacaste's dry forest with a private driver and guide. Along the way to the beach, take a break to see the stunning Llanos del Cortez waterfall near Bagaces.
