After exploring the market, head to La Candelaria, the oldest part of the city. Visit Plaza Bolivar, featuring a prominent statue of Simon Bolivar, the father of Colombian independence. In the La Candelaria neighborhood, you can also visit The Botero Museum, showcasing artworks by Fernando Botero, known for his distinctive "oversized" art.
